Memorial Day Tribute to Veterans
Monday, May 28, 10 a.m. This is a wonderful tribute to veterans and includes flag ceremonies, music, speakers and a flyover by the Condor Squadron. Come out and recognize the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor all of our heroes.

‘Millie' at Canyon Theatre Guild
Saturday, May 26, at 8 p.m. thoroughly Modern Millie" opens at the CTG. It plays again on Sunday, May 27, at 2 p.m. This award-winning musical is set in New York in the roaring '20s.

‘Trailer Park Musical' at the REP
Friday, May 25, 8 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 27, 2 p.m. A country-rock and blues musical about the lives and loves of a trailer park community.

Hurricane Harbor Opens
This Saturday, May 26, is the opening day of the season at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park, when the facility will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday hours are the same.

Castaic Lake State Recreation Area
Park activities include boating, world class fishing, hiking, walking, horseback riding, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, camping, picnicking, kayaking, sailing, plus simply enjoying nature and the great outdoors. Hours are 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Six Flags Magic Mountain
From the Merrie Melodies Carousel and other rides for young children, to mind-bending thrill rides, such as Colossus and X2, big fun awaits you this weekend at Six Flags Magic Mountain - and, until June 3, a season Thrill Pass is the same price as a one-day general admission ticket.

Mountasia Family Fun Center
Mountasia Family Fun Center is a seven acre entertainment complex offering fun for the entire family. It will be open Friday, May 25, from noon to 11 p.m., Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday, Memorial Day, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Street Fair
Santa Clarita Street Fair, Saturday, May 26, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 27, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the College of the Canyons Parking Lot #8. A monthly marketplace that is fun, festive and entertaining for the entire family. Visit for information.

Placerita Canyon Nature Center
The Placerita Canyon Natural Area and Nature Center will host a Family Nature Walk on Saturday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is an easy, one-hour walk exploring the area's natural and cultural history. There will also be a free Animal Presentation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. See, learn and ask questions about live native animals of the area. Because this will be the fourth Saturday of the month, there will also be a Blooms of the Season wildflower walk from 9: 30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Vasquez Rocks Natural Area
This is a popular hiking, picnicking and equestrian area. It features unusual rock formations, Tataviam Indian sites and a seasonal stream. The park is located at 10700 W. Escondido Canyon Road, Agua Dulce, CA 91390. Call (661) 268-0840 for more information.

Fillmore & Western Railway
