Valencia junior football player Tedric Thompson has received a handful of college scholarship offers, according to Vikings head coach Larry Muir.

The senior-to-be and All-Santa Clarita Valley first-team strong safety has offers from the University of Minnesota, Colorado, Fresno State and UNLV.

Thompson, a two-way player who is a productive receiver, is being looked at for his skills in the secondary, Muir said.

The three-year varsity player has a brother, Cedric, who is a sophomore defensive back at Minnesota, and Tedric's former Valencia teammate, junior Brock Vereen, is also a defensive back with the Golden Gophers.
