Firefighters responded to a report of a Chevy Astro van crashing into the center divider on the northbound side of Interstate 5 just north of Weldon Canyon Road in Newhall around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

No one was injured in the collision, but late-afternoon traffic in the area was expected to remain slow while the crash was investigated, a Los Angeles County Fire Department official said.

As of 4:15 p.m., no traffic lanes in the area were closed, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
