Firefighters plugged a small gas leak Monday morning after construction workers accidently ruptured a natural gas line.

No one was hurt and there was no property damage - except for that to the gas line.

"They plugged it pretty quickly," said a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., firefighters from Station 132 and deputies of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station responded to reports of the gas line breach in front of a home on Abelia Road on the south side of Tick Canyon in Canyon Country.
