My husband and I were the lone Yes on Eight couple standing south of the Facey building. We tried to stand closer to the intersection, but unfortunately that wasn't well received by those around us.
Just for the record, we also received an amazing amount of support from the motorists who drove by us and we thank them for that.
Sadly, those who didn't support us chose to do so by yelling at us or flipping us off.
We would like you to know that we don't hate you nor do we want you to feel unloved and without equal rights.
Our hope and prayer is for you to realize we would just like to preserve our right to say marriage is the unique union of a man and woman and maybe you could come to terms with tolerating and honoring this sacred concept.
