Voters will have the opportunity to learn about the Santa Clarita City Council candidates on Saturday when Santa Clarita United Methodist Church hosts "Meet the Candidates" on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Carl Boyer, a founding member of the City Council and two-term mayor of Santa Clarita, will moderate the discussions with candidates.

The event will be at Fellowship Hall of Santa Clarita United Methodist Church, located at 26640 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus.

After the discussion, light refreshments will be available by the Church Hospitality Committee and guests will be able to socialize with the candidates.

The Santa Clarita City Council election is on April 8.
