Saugus High senior basketball player Kim Smither has committed to The Master’s College.

The forward missed nearly a month of her senior season with an elbow injury, but she averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 blocks per game as the Centurions won a share of the Foothill League title.

“I chose TMC because I’m very familiar with the campus,” Smither said, according to TMC’s press release.. “I grew up going to the basketball camps coach Waldeck hosted and also watched a lot of the games. As a young kid I grew to love the school and its commitment to Christ and Scripture.  My main goal as a Mustang is to help the team in anyway this season and over the next couple of years. I want to inspire anyone to pursue their dreams and play basketball on a higher level.”

The Mustangs went 12-19 this past season and 5-13 in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
