Fifteen elementary students from Saugus Union School District recently competed in the annual Speak-Off for the title of district toastmaster champion.

Harrison Little, a third-grader from Plum Canyon Elementary, represented his school with his portrayal of Albert Einstein, a Nobel Prize winner and esteemed genius of the 20th century.

He won first place with Lucy O’Brien of Highlands Elementary School.

Harrison, practicing for months on his speech, gave a presentation that won over the crowd with his knowledge of Einstein. Harrison wore a white lab coat, bushy moustache and spoke in a heavy German accent.

Harrison will perform his Toastmasters speech one more time on May 22 at Rio Vista Elementary for the District Awards Ceremony.
