Driving Under the Influence
Newhall Ranch Road, Interstate 5, Valencia
A 27-year-old Frazier Park man driving a white 1990 Toyota 4Runner was arrested after he made an unsafe lane change in front of deputies while traveling east on Newhall Ranch Road at 11:40 p.m., a sheriff's report said. The man's blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit, according to the report.

Garzota Drive, Saugus
A 22-year-old Saugus woman reported a prowler outside her Garzota Drive home just after midnight April 20, a sheriff's report said. Someone rang the doorbell to her residence and shined a flashlight through a bedroom window, the woman said in the report.

April 21
Canvas Street, Canyon Country
An off-duty deputy followed a 54-year-old man driving a 1999 black GMC Sonoma pickup through a Canyon Country neighborhood around 9 p.m. April 21, a sheriff's report said. The deputy watched the man drive east on Soledad Canyon Road at 20 mph in a 40 mph zone before coming to a stop in front of a home on Canvas Street, the report said. "I'm drunk," the man told the deputy, according to the report.

27500 block of Wayne Mills Place, Valencia
Deputies responded to a report of a drunken woman lying on a sidewalk outside a Holiday Inn Express in Valencia around 10 p.m. April 21. The woman's blood alcohol content was .235, a sheriff's report said. The legal limit for driving is .08. The Moorpark woman was taken into custody because she was unable to care for herself, the report said.

Spousal Assault
Crossglade Avenue, Canyon Country
Deputies arrested a 34-year-old man at 10:56 p.m. after he allegedly punched his pregnant wife twice on her forehead, a sheriff's report said. The man became upset when his wife asked him to lower the volume of music he was playing so their children could sleep, the report said. "The suspect said his wife was crazy and he would not hit a lady," according to the report.

Sierra Highway and Rainbow Glen, Canyon Country
Deputies tracked a gray 2003 BMW traveling south on Sierra Highway at 80 mph in a 50 mph zone at 1:50 a.m. Sunday. "I had three Shock Top beers," the driver told deputies, according to the report.

Shirley Lane, Saugus
A 38-year-old Saugus woman reported to deputies Sunday that her home had been vandalized three times since November, a sheriff's report said. The first incident occurred when vandals hurled eggs at her home and the last occurred April 21, when vandals placed toilet paper in and around her front yard and vehicles, the report said.

Esterbrook Drive, Canyon Country
Thieves reportedly stole a wallet belonging to a 57-year-old Canyon Country man between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday, a sheriff's report said. The man believes his 49-year-old roommate may have taken the wallet, which was left in a dresser drawer, the report said.

24800 block of Newhall Avenue, Newhall
Deputies watched a white 1999 Honda Passport driven by a 51-year-old man travel east on Lyons Avenue at 50 mph in a 40 mph zone and drift from lane to lane at 1:25 a.m. Monday, a sheriff's report said. "Its OK - I live right up there," the man told deputies after they stopped his car, the report said. The man's blood alcohol content was more than two times the legal limit, the report said.
