The Castaic Area Town Council has organized the 16th annual 5K Run Around the Lake and pancake breakfast Sunday morning at Castaic Lake. The event will also include a 1K for kids and 10-mile run for athletes. Every Castaic student who pre-registers for the 5K and his or her school can run for $10 with $10 going back to the student's school as a fundraiser.
