I would like to thank The Signal's editorial board for its editorial on Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's Master Plan (Nov. 23).

I have been on the hospital's Foundation Board for almost 20 years.

I have seen all the ups and downs, and changes to the hospital's administration. I think the hospital's plan to go forward is needed. Good medical care for our community is necessary. I look forward to the challenges to help raise the funds needed for the hospital's expansion.
