K.C. Linn

Midshipman Kenneth "K.C." Linn, son of Betsy and Kenny Linn, will be graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., on May 29, 2012 and be commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Ensign Linn has successfully completed four years of intensive academic, physical, and professional training, resulting in a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Ocean Engineering.

The mission of the United States Naval Academy is to develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically for the privilege of serving as leaders of Sailors and Marines who have volunteered to serve our country. Following graduation, Ensign Linn will be assigned to Special Warfare where he will join the next Basic Underwater Demolition/Sea Air Land (BUDs/SEALs) training class in Coronado.

The Brigade of Midshipmen is comprised of more that 4,000 students from every state in the union.

Ensign Linn is a 2008 graduate of William S. Hart High School in Newhall. While at Hart, Linn was a high achieving student athlete, All-American swimmer and member of the Hart Indians football team.
