Saugus High graduate Tom Milone makes his Oakland A's debut tonight.

The 25-year-old, who came over in an offseason trade from the Washington Nationals, gets the start at 7:05 p.m. tonight against the Kansas City Royals.

Milone went 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA in five spring games (four starts).

The left-hander made his big league debut Sept. 3 with the Nationals and went on to go 1-0 with a 3.81 ERA in five starts.

He was a piece of the four-player package Oakland received for pitcher Gio Gonzalez on Dec. 23.
