Early voting blues

The public seems to have already forgotten that the election in Los Angeles County was a travesty for early voters.

First, anyone from Santa Clarita who wanted to go to the county clerk's office to vote in person before election day had to drive an average of 50 miles each way to do so. Then the wait in line was typically five hours.

County employees had to deal with thousands of precincts in the world's largest county, larger than 59% of the sovereign nations on this earth.

Our county government is in a dreadful state, yet none of our leaders are trying to do anything about the fundamental causes.
