Valencia High graduate Danny Worth has made the Detroit Tigers' Opening Day roster, according to MLB.com.
The Tigers placed veteran infielder Brandon Inge on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday, paving the way for the 2004 Valencia graduate to make the team.
In Spring Training, Worth is 13-for-41 (.317 batting average) with two home runs and seven RBIs.
The 26-year-old infielder had been battling with Inge, who has struggled all spring offensively, for one of the final roster spots.
The Tigers begin their season Thursday hosting the Boston Red Sox at 10:05 a.m.
