What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book and why?

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Green Eggs and Ham.” The reason is because it was the first Dr. Seuss book my mom read to me. I think Dr. Seuss was a great author.
Another book that I loved when I was little was “The Cat in the Hat.” I wish I was still 5, because then I would read Dr. Seuss all the time.

I do not know; there are so many. But if I had to choose, it would be “Green Eggs and Ham.” The roommate walks around being stalked by Sam, which is a smart way into forcing someone to do something. In a car, in a box or on an ox, it is funny. Then he goes on and eats it when he is so focused on hot.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Green Eggs and Ham.” I always read it when I was little.
My favorite part is when Sam I Am keeps on asking and asking and asking for the roommate to try the green eggs and ham, and then he finally tries it and loves it.
Now, I always read to my cousin “Green Eggs and Ham,” and my cousin’s favorite part is when the character tries the green eggs and ham, too! So, whenever I go to her house and spend the night there, I always read to her. “Green Eggs and Ham” is our favorite Dr. Seuss book.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Dr. Seuss’s ABC.” Why? Because you can learn your ABCs and learn what starts with each letter, like “P” in “penguin.”
I like this book a lot. I want to read this book over and over and over because I want to memorize the book and know my ABCs, because I get confused between M and N.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z — now I know my alphabet! I’m just kidding — I know my alphabet. But this book is great for children who don’t know their alphabet very well or don’t know it at all.
Thank you, Dr. Seuss, for making this ABC book. You can help children learn their ABCs.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Green Eggs and Ham.”
Why do I like the book? Because Sam is giving the grinch guy some green eggs and ham. Then the grinch guy goes to his car, buckles up and goes. Then Sam offered his green eggs and ham, and the grinch guy says, “No, I don’t want any green eggs and ham,” then crashed into a tree. Then he jumps off into the sea below. Then Sam offers him green eggs and ham, but he says “No, I don’t want any green eggs and ham!”
He gets back on land and gets on a train, but instead of going in he was on top of the train. Then Sam offers him some green eggs and ham, but the grinch guy says, “I don’t want any green eggs and ham!” The grinch guy gets off the train and onto a boat, then Sam offers him some, then the boat crashes.
Every crewman, Sam and the grinch guy fly into the air and land on an island. Sam offers the grinch guy some green eggs and ham. The grinch guy takes it and takes one bite. It was so good that the grinch guy wanted the crew to have some, even the captain.
Thanks, Dr. Seuss, for writing this book for children!

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Green Eggs and Ham.” I like that book because it makes me laugh and giggle, and I just love reading that book. My mom used to read me that book when I was little. It was a good book to read. I would always laugh when he got mad. I would giggle.

I love Dr. Seuss books, but it’s been a long time since I read them. I don’t really remember all of the books I read, but if I could choose one of my favorite books, it would be “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” I love the book and also the movie, and why do I like it, you say?
Well, I mostly like it because the Grinch realized that sharing is caring. I also enjoyed the movie. Although, I wish that Dr. Seuss was still alive to make a sequel to “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
P.S. Happy belated birthday, Dr. Seuss!

I’ve been reading Dr. Seuss ever since I was in preschool. Dr. Seuss was and still is a great author and illustrator. Wish he were still alive.
From all of his wonderful books, my favorite of them all is “The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.” It’s about a boy who had a hat that when you take it off, another one appears, and it almost led him to his death by the orders and command of the king.
The hats began looking more and more astonishing until the 500th hat had a dinosaur-sized ruby with many unique feathers.
The king gave him 500 pieces of gold and promised to stop sending or command his executioner, mastered wizards of black magic, his brave, fearless and small nephew, and more to kill him for all of the hats, especially the 500th hat.
So, that’s my favorite Dr. Seuss book. Hope you don’t just like this, but love this.

My favorite book by Dr. Seuss is “Green Eggs and Ham,” because every St. Patrick’s Day I have green eggs and ham. It is so fun. When you are cooking the eggs in the pan, you put green dye in it, and voila, it is done. Time to eat.
We also color the water by putting green dye in it. I thought it would hurt you by drinking it.
My favorite part in the book is when he is trying to get him to eat everywhere he goes, like in a house with a mouse or in a car with a goat. Or on a boat, here, there or anywhere. But he finally eats the green eggs and ham when it is raining, and it turns out that he loves them. And that is my favorite book.

I love “The Lorax”! “The Lorax” is my favorite book because of the Truffula trees being extinct, which makes me want to go to the library and read about extinct animals.
I improve in my reading all the time. Dr. Seuss is my favorite author and is so inspiring. I hope I can be as talented as him one day.

Avamis
“The Butter Battle Book” is my favorite book. I like this book because it has comedy and action.
And the bad guy wins, and the wall is like the Great Wall of China, and they have huge, hilarious weapons, like one weapon is made out of twigs. And also, I like that it teaches you in real life, bad guys don’t always lose, but mostly they do.
My favorite part is when they battle with their elephant tanks, and the good people keep their butter side up than keep it down. And that is my favorite book. Check it out at public or school libraries.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “The Cat in the Hat.” It is my favorite because it was the first one I read. I also like it because it has funny pictures. It also has my favorite picture, and that one is on page 61. I like that page because it is when the mom comes in and doesn’t notice anything. I also like the cat because it helps the children clean up. The first person who read the book to me was my mom.
I also like it because it rhymes. I also like it because the cat has a hat. I also like it because it teaches a lesson to never let a stranger in your house.
 It also makes me laugh when I see the cat with a bow tie. I also like it because it has Thing One and Thing Two.
I also like it because Thing One and Thing Two mess up the house. It’s sad when it’s raining because they couldn’t play. That is why “The Cat in the Hat” is my favorite.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Horton Hears a Who.” I like it because it teaches you to never give up on a person. I also like it because of the character. Horton is helping a town where people live. Horton is my favorite character because he is kind and gentle.
I mostly like it because it is hilariously awesome. I like it because it rhymes.
 I like it because it has a little kangaroo that always says “me too.” I really like it because Horton tries to help helpless people.
I like it because the eagle is the meanest bad guy there. The monkeys were the funniest guys there.
The best part was in the beginning, which had Horton taking a shower. The coolest part was the little tiny town.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “The Cat in the Hat.”
I like the funny pictures in the story. I also like the cool characters. I love how they have funny rhymes.
I also like all of his books, but out of all of the books, I chose “The Cat in the Hat.”

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.” I like it because it makes me laugh. I remember when my mom read it to me at bedtime, it was my favorite book. My favorite characters are Red Fish and Blue Fish. They always made me laugh. It taught me my colors. I love that Dr. Seuss book.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “There’s a Wocket in My Pocket.” It makes me laugh. There’s funny pictures.
I love my Dr. Seuss books, especially “There’s a Wocket in My Pocket.” My favorite character is the Geeling on the ceiling. I think this is one of the best Dr. Seuss books ever. The rhymes are great. Most of my books are Dr. Seuss.
One time, I laughed so hard I almost choked. But “There’s a Wocket in My Pocket” is the best.

“Fox in Socks” is my favorite Dr. Seuss book because I like the characters. I like the rhymes, and I like it because it helps you learn.
The Fox wears socks and then he hops into a box. The book taught me how to be funny around all my friends.
My favorite part is when the Fox hops into the box. The book “Fox in Socks” is really funny and really rhyming.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories.” My favorite character is Yertle because he starts out nice.
Further into the book, he starts to get greedy.
The turtle at the bottom complains because his shell is starting to crack. My favorite sentence is “‘What’s THAT?’ snorted Yertle.” The book taught me never to be greedy. At the end of the book, Yertle was king of the mud!

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Dr. Seuss’s ABC.” I love it because it is so funny that it makes me laugh. My favorite part was when I saw a barber man cutting a baby’s hair with big scissors, the boy that is blowing a big bubble and the bumblebee with a big nose.

Andres Garcia
I like “Horton Hatches the Egg” by Dr. Seuss because he stays in the tree no matter what.
He even stayed in the winter, and when the hunters wanted to shoot Horton, he still stayed on the tree.
I also like the part where the egg hatches, and it turns into an elephant bird. I learned that when you make a promise, be a man of your word.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Horton Hatches the Egg.” I like this book because it is funny and an elephant sits on an egg for 51 weeks. My favorite character is Horton because he sits on an egg. It teaches me to be kind to other people.

Alex Solis
“Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now!” This is my favorite book because he always yells. And I like when he tries to go in many ways.
My favorite character is Marvin K. Mooney. Ha ha ha, it’s so funny and it teaches me to go when someone tells me to.
And also, I love their rhyming. It’s so well, so perfect, I wouldn’t think of that is all true.
