A shout out to one of my very favorite ladies in the SCV — Sally Coss. She’s home recovering from surgery. I hope she is out
and about and working in her gorgeous garden very soon.

Get better soon, Sally. We need more ladies like you in the SCV.

Arts and crafts show at Hart Hall

William S. Hart Park in Newhall in cooperation with “The Friends of Hart Park” presents the Artisan Row Home Arts and Crafts Show 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at William S. Hart Park, 24151 Newhall Ave. Newhall, in Hart Hall and the patio.

This home arts and crafts show will feature an exhibition by the Santa Clarita Valley Quilt Guild of 12 quilts and the “Opportunity
Quilt.”

In addition to arts and crafts vendors of every description, the Hart Patio will have three separate visual arts galleries — a miniatures galley, a photography gallery and a visual arts all media gallery.

Admission is free.

Here we are, April

It’s April... already. Spring break is upon us, and I understand that Six Flags Magic Mountain is open daily for fun and frolic.

It’s hard to fathom where the time has flown.

Visit with Oscar winner Joel Cox

How the West was Won Trap Shoot

You don’t have to know how to shoot a gun to enjoy the Carousel Ranch How the West Was Won Trap Shoot to be held 9 a.m. April 27 at Oak Tree Gun Club.

The trap shoot is a great chance to form a team and shoot a few clay pigeons in the effort to win prizes and support Carousel
Therapeutic Riding Ranch.

Like all nonprofits, Carousel Ranch needs your support to keep the horses fed and to provide client services.

For more information, visit www.carouselranch.org or call 661-268-8010.
