Congratulations to the Canyon High School JV football team for winning the Foothill League championship with a perfect undefeated league record of 5-0 and an overall record of eight wins and two losses.

The Cowboys averaged more than 45 points during league play while only giving up an average of 19 points.

Coach Guitierez and his entire staff did an outstanding job with these boys, and I think I can speak for all of the JV parents when I give a big thank you to you all.

I was very happy and proud to represent and help our team as the on-field EMT.
