Sheriff's deputies and paramedics responded to a report of an unresponsive white male found in a Stevenson Ranch apartment just after 11:30 a.m. today.

The man may have been in the process of being evicted and may have left a note, a Sheriff's Department dispatcher said.

Officials have not released information on the man's status because the incident is under investigation, a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station watch commander said.

The man lived in a third floor apartment at the Mountain Terrace Apartment complex on the 25300 block of The Old Road.
