Brownie needs a new home.

Brownie is a hound/shepherd mix, about two years old. She is a medium-sized dog and is good with kids.

Dumped and forgotten and having just given birth to seven puppies, scared and lonely Brownie found herself in the cold and unsure world of the shelter.

At the shelter, Brownie and her pups contracted several diseases and bacterial infections.

The worst, however, was for her poor puppies who were eventually diagnosed with distemper. Two pups died at the shelter before New Leash could come to the rescue.

After taking in Brownie and her five remaining babies, New Leash soon discovered that one of the puppies was too sick to make it and it was euthanized.

The rest of the puppies are still on their way to recovery and are doing well.

As for mama, she was recently spayed and has been declared fit and healthy and ready to go to a home.
Once you meet this adorable girl, you will melt.

She has a way of cuddling up to you and burying her head into your lap so sweetly while she enjoys a tummy rub or two.

Falling asleep on her back and pawing at you for more attention are just a few of the cute quirks we enjoy.
If you'd like to come see for yourself how lovable this sweet mama is call (661) 255-0097 or visit www.newleash.org.
