The Santa Clarita Branch of the American Association of University Women recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a member brunch at the home of Louise Schultz. Ed Masterson, SCV Field Representative for state Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, recognized the group with a special certificate while Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the Santa Clarita City Council conveyed congratulatory messages.
Six charter members attended the brunch and spoke on changes within the Santa Clarita Valley and the evolving role of women.
