Dan Csicsai stands at Salon Glo in Valencia.

It will be a fashion show with a twist, an event designed to be as much fun for the gentlemen as it is for the ladies, said event chairwoman Shelley Hann.

Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley’s Fashion, Fun & Fantasy will be held Sunday, March 18, at Hyatt Regency Valencia.  Boutiques open at 3 p.m., with doors opening for the Sunday Night Supper Show at 5:30 p.m.

“We wanted to do a fun event that would appeal to both men and women,” Hann said. “We will have a comedy show and a supper club type of atmosphere.”

The show will begin with an array of fashions from White House/Black Market modeled by community leaders as well as past recipients of the Betty Ferguson Foundation Woman of Honor Award.

Gentlemen will strut the runway attired by J. David’s Clothiers.

“After the fashions, we’ll be entertained with comedy in the tradition of a Sunday night supper club,” said Hann. “The evening will close with extravagant hairstyles from award-winning Dan Csicsai of Salon Glo.”

Csicsai recently was one of five finalists for the 2011 North American Hairstyling Awards.
