Keith Hawkins visited Sierra Vista on Jan. 31 to speak to the student body in an assembly about Standing for Something. He shared personal life experiences and humor in order to reach our students with his message.
He stressed the importance of a good education and how students need to focus on taking advantage of everything their school has to offer them, despite any personal hardships they may be going through.
In response, students signed a banner at brunch to welcome Hawkins to the Canyon Country school campus, and they wore colorful bracelets with the words, “Faith, Peace, Courage, Hope” on them.
