Last Chance to Buy KB Home in SCV
KB Home, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, announced that its Blackberry Briar at Plum Canyon community is in the final stages of selling.

Blackberry Briar at Plum Canyon offers single-family homes. The one and two story built to order homes range from 1,852 to 3,478 square feet. Starting at $468,990, the five floor plans feature 3 to 7 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms and 2-car garages.

KB Home Earns National Housing Quality Certification
The NAHB Research Center announced that KB Home has been named the first builder to earn the National Housing Quality Certified Builder Program for all of its operations nationwide.

KB Home's North Los Angeles Division, which covers the Antelope, Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys, as well as Ventura County, received the NHQ certification from 2006 to present.

The NHQ certification is presented to home builders and trade contractors who have documented and implemented quality management systems.

Princess Cruises to Offer More of Europe in 2009
Princess Cruises announced that it will be offering its most extensive European season to date in 2009 as it will feature more sailings and new opportunities for cruisers to explore locations that include all aspects of the continent.

"Ruby Princess" and "Tahitian Princess" will make their European debuts on a season that features nine new itineraries and 11 ports of call, according to a statement from Princess Cruises, which has its world headquarters in Valencia.

Travelers not only can choose to explore the historic highlights of the Mediterranean and Greek Isles aboard "Ruby Princess," but can also choose from a variety of new sailing options aboard the intimate "Tahitian Princess," including a series of 18-day mid-summer "Top of the World" itineraries between New York and London that feature Iceland and Greenland.

The season also features 50 percent more departures to the historic Holy Land.

In total, the cruise liner's 2009 Europe program features a six-ship fleet sailing on 90 voyages of 36 different itineraries to 132 ports and destinations.

Cruises open for sale on March 14, 2008.
