A disabled big rig blocked lanes on southbound Interstate 5 north of Castaic Road caused a Sig Alert Tuesday evening as crews worked to move the truck out of traffic lanes.

The disabled truck was blocking two lanes of traffic near Castaic Road around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. Jeff Ferber. A Sig Alert was issued until tow trucks could move the semi truck out of the way of traffic.
