Providence Holy Cross Medical Center presented the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center K-12 Arts Education Outreach Program with a $10,000 check today to benefit arts enrichment programs within local public schools.

The check presentation came as part of a special assembly with 700 elementary school students that featured the performance of the show TAO: The Art of the Drum.

The K-12 Arts Outreach Program works with the five Santa Clarita Valley school districts to give local elementary, junior high and high school students access to Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center performers through workshops, lessons and performances.
