More than 100 local cheerleaders showed off their cheer skills during Saturday's X-Treme Cheer Competition Kick-Off at Hart High School.

The competition was a showcase of competition routines including stunts, pyramids, tumbling and acrobatic tricks, performed by the California Flyers of Gymcheer USA and the Hart High School cheerleaders.

The Flyers have been named 2008 West Coast Champions, 2008 State Regional Champions, 2008 World Semi-Finalists and 2008 Spirit National Champions.

The Hart Cheerleaders were undefeated in the 2007-08 season with wins including the CIF State Championship, California State Championship, Cheer Pro State Championship and USA Spirit Nation Championship.
