Having grown up (near downtown) Los Angeles, it comes as no surprise to learn that children can be so cruel to others. Bullies are always with us, like bad weather.

We, as parents, have to prepare our children for these types of kids, as we prepare them for being exposed to drugs and other negative aspects of going to a public school. As for the children who participated in bullying Jeremiah Lasater at Vasquez High School, they are going to have to live with his suicide for the rest of their lives.
