Available Monday through Friday at the SCV Senior Center in Newhall. Meals are also available when you call one day ahead at Bouquet Canyon Seniors, Monday through Friday, (661) 513-9479, and available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Masonic Lodge in Friendly Valley (661) 299-4595.
Monday —  Peppered steak
Tuesday — Herb baked chicken
Wednesday — Beef chili
Thursday — Baked fish
Friday — Chicken dijon

The SCV Senior Center is located at 22900 Market St., Newhall. For a detailed monthly calendar, call the center at (661) 259-9444. All the following activities will occur at the SCV Senior Center, 1 p.m., in rooms A1-A2 unless otherwise indicated.
Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m., blood-pressure checks held, Activity Room 6.
Jan. 18 — The Alzheimer’s Association presents “Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: The Basics.” Seniors and family caregivers/adult children encouraged to attend.
