What is your New Year’s resolution?

My New Year’s resolution is to get better in school and to work hard in Mrs. Perrault’s fourth grade class.
Mrs. Perrault’s class is very nice, hardworking and caring. I have improved in writing, English language arts, math and art. I want to be challenged by every grade in Oak Hills Elementary.
That is my New Year’s resolution for the year of 2012.

Hello, my name is Gianna Santillana and my New Year’s resolution is going to be helping around the house, keeping all of the rooms clean and helping my parents when they ask me.
I will do it the first time they tell me to, to be a better daughter all the time.

My New Year’s resolution is to travel around the world by saving money, getting airline tickets and booking hotels. I want to travel the world in a month because I want to make a world record before I turn 10 in July, to get cool stuff around the world, to know what it is like to live in different places, and to see what the food is like, and to see what traditions they do.

I am going to practice being a football player so I can go pro. I will practice by practicing my moves and running a lot.
I will practice my hitting, by calling my other football friend and start hitting. I will do a lot of push-ups and sit-ups.
I will start to eat healthy food and practice my catching.

My New Year’s resolution is helping around the house more. This is my New Year’s resolution because my parents work hard, and I don’t think I do a lot to help.
I want to help take out the trash, clean my room, clean the house and play with my puppy more, because he stays at home all day and doesn’t stay outside. That is my New Year’s resolution for 2012.

My New Year’s resolution is to help my family more. One thing I could do is help clean around my house, take out the laundry, do dishes, do more favors, and feed my dog and take her for walks.
I want to help my family because they do so much. They feed me and take care of me. I’m just grateful to have the family I have right now. So that’s why this is my New Year’s resolution.

My New Year’s resolution is to be a better baseball player. To achieve this goal, I have to go to the batting cages more often.
I also have to play catch and practice pitching almost every day.
If I do this, it will be more fun to play baseball if I could achieve my New Year’s resolution.

My goal for New Year’s is to get better at my swimming strokes. I hope I become part of a swim team next year. When I am in fifth grade, I also want to be someone who could swim a mile in one minute. I am glad to be at the school Oak Hills Elementary.

For my New Year’s resolution, I want to improve my singing.
I always want to be a singer when I grow up. I’m going to try really hard, and I will never give up because I have always had this dream. Hopefully I will become a singer.

My New Year’s resolution is to hit a grand slam in a baseball game.
I want to do this to make my family proud of me, and to make myself proud. For that to happen, I need to practice by going to the batting cages a lot.
Also, if other coaches see me, it would help me get drafted on a good team.

My New Year’s resolution is improving my grades by working hard and practicing. I think I want to improve my grades because I would be smarter in subjects.
Improving my grades is better because I could get outstanding reports on my behavior.
I think even my mom would be proud of me if I get 4’s or 3’s. I hope I can reach my goals on my grades and comments in Mrs. Perrault’s fourth grade class in Oak Hills Elementary.

My New Year’s goal is to play basketball better and do tricks. I want to do tricks because then my friends will not get my ball easily.
 And if I do well at basketball and tricks, I can win many games.
Soon, I will play better than my brother and friends.

For my New Year’s resolution, I want to work on my multiplication.
I need to work on the 9’s and 12’s. If I was good at multiplication, I would get my math done faster.

For my New Year’s resolution, I want to improve in football. To get better at football, I should go to the park and practice.
Another way to get better at football is to get a big, long measuring stick and throw the ball and see how far I throw it.
And there’s one more thing you should do, which is to go to a very high pole and kick the ball over it. If you can’t, just keep trying.

For my New Year’s resolution, I will keep on doing my homework and study a lot so I can pass to fifth grade. I will work and not miss any classes at school.
I do not want to be held back anymore. I’ve had enough with that.
I will search on the dictionary and learn all 50 states. I will learn more math. I will keep on reading until I get better. I will learn like a fifth grader and get higher grades.

I want to get better at handwriting so I will write stories, paragraphs, writing slower, neater, and help my friends and the teacher understand me. I want to get better at math, learn more, answer questions faster and figure them out. Next, I want to get better at getting friends, so I will be more nice to people.
I also want to do better at science so I can win the science fair and prove that I am smarter than my older brother. I want to make my dad happier so I will do my homework, finish chores and read for one whole hour, and I’m sure he will be as happy as can be.
I want to be better at sports so my two friends can approve of me so I can be spread around to have more friends. My last approval is have God make sure I’m safe, and I want to make him happy so he can approve of my family and I.

For my New Year’s resolution, I want to improve my English language arts so I can get a better score in the STAR test.
Hopefully, I could go to GATE. If I concentrate on my skills to get a good college.
If I do great, I could be an English language arts tutor. If I get good grades on this subject, my parents would be really proud of me and I would be proud.

For my New Year’s resolution, I would like to become a better tennis player. I would like to improve on my backhands and become more focused in my game.
My coach says I am a very good player, but I have to work on my serves. I would like to try and play four days a week. I hope I become a better tennis player.

My New Year’s resolution is that I will get better grades next year. To get better grades, you need to study for math, reading, language arts, science and social studies.
You have to concentrate while the teacher is talking. Hopefully I will get better grades.

My goal for New Year’s is to study on how to be an aquanaut so I can discover the sea and the sea life in the salty waters.
The sea animals I’d want to see are manta rays, sting rays, moray eels, seadragons, sea stars, seahorses, starfish, jellyfish, dolphins, whales, sharks, a great white shark, blue whales, humpback whales and lots and lots of coral.
I want to be an aquanaut because I could see all of the ship crashes and plane crashes, or maybe I can see the Titanic for one of the ship crashes. I could see a lot of seaweed.

I want to improve my writing by practicing writing stories, paragraphs and a lot of sentences, copying words from a book or computer, and write a lot of stories.
I want ot make people recognize my work and like my writing, if I grow up and be a story writer.

My New Year’s resolution is to study more about animals. I want to be the only person to know about reptiles.
I want to study more about their behavior. I want to know about snakes’ venom and how it works, and how crocodiles get their bone-crushing ability, and why charmeleons have their blending ability.

My New Year’s resolution is going to be studying.
My goal is to study math, language arts, reading and test preps. I am going to work hard so I can be smarter in school.
I would finish the book so I don’t need to do some more. The only thing I would work hard in my New Year’s resolution is studying.

My goal is to be better singer. To be better, you need to practice a lot almost every day if you want to be a better singer.
You have to practice really hard, because if you want to be better you have to work as hard as you can and don’t give up.
Singing is pretty hard because you need to use all of your power to sing loud.

My name is Robert Seidel, and I am in Mrs. Perrault’s fourth grade classroom at Oak Hills Elementary.
My goal for the New Year is mostly to try to focus more on classwork and to put learning ahead of everything else. I also want to try to practice more on sports so I can try to get stronger.
 I also want to try to be more serious with sports, but most importantly with school.
