Saugus High School’s Associated Student Body brought in 14 tons of snow Friday for students to enjoy on the last regular day of school before finals this week.
Students were asked to bring in five food items or $5 donation for the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry for admittance to the fenced-off snow area.
Hundreds of cans of food were collected, and the students enjoyed a fun sled course down the hill in the quad while supporting local SCV Food Pantry recipients.
Students enjoyed an ugly-sweater and pajama day theme as part of the festivities. Principal Bill Bolde and ASB student Trevor Anthony dressed as Santa Claus to celebrate the season.
