The effects of a solid fall season are still being felt at The Master’s College.

On the heels of its first 20-win season since 2002, the women’s volleyball team saw two members voted to as National Christian College Athletic Association All-Americans.

The school also had four soccer players make All-American teams — two men players and two women players — in last week’s announcement, pushing the total number of honorees to six.

Middle blocker Tori Callihan, who was already named to the all-Golden State Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball First Team last month, has now gained NCCAA First Team honors as well.

TMC also saw sophomore libero Rebecca Gieske named to the NCCAA Second Team last week.

Included on the First Team was junior Jorge Serrano on the men’s team and senior Bobbie Roberts on the women’s team.

TMC senior and Hart High graduate Fabrice Gautrat was an NCCAA honorable mention on the men’s team and freshman Natasha Coyle was an honorable mention on the women’s side.

It was a quiet week for both basketball teams, which are headed into a light part of the schedule during the holiday season.

Men’s Basketball

After last week’s narrow 58-55 loss to Cal Poly Pomona, a No. 14-ranked NCAA Division II team, TMC played just one game this week against San Diego Christian on Saturday.

TMC won 77-60 led by Anthony Cammon’s 24 points.

Women’s Basketball

Though the Mustangs (6-5, 0-2 GSAC) had the week off, the team travels to play in the Biola Holiday Classic beginning on Wednesday against the Hastings College of Nebraska in La Mirada.
