To The Editor:Having lived in the SCV and been a subscriber to the Signal since 1973, I am very familiar with John Boston. Some of his writing was witty and brilliant.
Unfortunately, much of his output I considered to be gibberish nonsense couched as "humor" that was, at times, viciously directed at local citizens of sterling character.
I am surprised that he was tolerated for so long by his victims and his employers. One would have expected him to go out like a lion, but alas, he left like a lamb, (hoist) on his own petard.
