Think before you vote

Recently at Central Park my civil rights were violated by someone opposed to Proposition 8. I parked my car in the parking lot and went off to watch my kids practice.

When we came back to my car my rear windshield’s Proposition 8 message had been wiped off by someone who didn’t like what it said: “Marriage is Sacred Yes on 8.”

Whether you agree or disagree with Proposition 8, I have the right guaranteed by our Constitution to express my beliefs, and someone suppressed my rights and also broke the law by vandalizing my car.

It is a sad day in our great country when someone would feel they could and should do such a thing. Think about that on election day when you cast your vote regarding Proposition 8.

Think about the type of people opposed to Proposition 8 who steal yard signs and vandalize people’s cars to get what they want or prevent free people from expressing themselves.

“What God has put together let no human take apart.”  — The Holy Scripture on marriage.
