What most people fail to take into consideration in the Prop. 8 debate is that it was God who initiated and defined marriage, not man.

Who do people think they are that they can tell God he was wrong? And if God was wrong, then he needs to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

But God was not wrong and he will not be mocked. No civilization in the history of mankind ever legalized homosexual marriage, not even Rome.

When I saw the front page story in the Signal on Thursday about the “Gay couple living the American dream,” I was appalled.

These people can pretend and play house all they want, but this is not marriage. Just because I stand in a garage all day does not make me a car.

America is on the slippery slope to destruction on moral grounds, and recognizing homosexual marriage is the step that no civilization has ever gone so far to accept.

Vote yes on Prop. 8.
