Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) members held their monthly INC Giving Project entitled “Singing For A Cause” on Oct. 30 at Pacifica Senior Living in Newhall. Several musical numbers from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s were sung for the crowd.

Iglesia ni Cristo, also known as Church of Christ, performed songs and donated clothing for the residents of Pacifica Senior Living in Newhall during a recent visit.

The day of singing was part of the INC Giving Project, the organization’s newly launched philanthropic program to help families and communities during challenging economic times, leveraging the skills and expertise of church members to implement positive solutions and offer services for the basic needs of their neighbors.
Iglesia ni Cristo is one of the fastest growing international Christian organizations.

“We not only want to say thank you to our local neighbors, we want to show them our appreciation as well, whether that means cleaning the local park or entertaining the local elderly residents,” Iglesia Ni Cristo Resident Minister Ferdinand Febre said. “That is what our INC Giving Project is all about.”

The mission of the INC Giving Project is to extend the presence of the Iglesia ni Cristo members to its community partners by supporting their efforts to provide solutions to help families succeed and achieve. The “Singing For A Cause” in the Santa Clarita Valley area is part of a global effort to share faith through acts of kindness by meeting peoples everyday needs, engaging thousands of INC members in supporting local neighborhoods and strengthening the bond with their communities.
