Personal Background
I have lived in Castaic for 11 years. I have coached our community’s children and gotten a pulse of the community during that endeavor, and served on advisory committees with regard to the Castaic Union School District’s GATE program.
What is/are the most important issues?
A major discussion point involves our future governance. We must determine whether it is feasible to become our own city and, if so, whether we are better off following that path or annexing into the city of Santa Clarita. We should continue to monitor the progress regarding building of a high school in Castaic.
What makes you feel qualified to serve?
I have followed all local issues since moving to Castaic in 1997. I am knowledgeable regarding the community’s thoughts and concerns. I will devote whatever time and energy is required of me to properly represent and support our community if given the opportunity to serve.
