The county coroner's office on Monday released the identities of two people killed in Sunday's motorcycle collision on Interstate 5.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner named the victims as Romarino Zeri, 51, of Los Angeles, and Julie Anne Cameron, 38, of Venice.

The two were reportedly on their way to the Love Ride 28 charity event at Castaic Lake when their motorcycle collided with a big rig on Interstate 5, authorities said.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Christian Craycraft, the motorcycle was riding between lanes on the northbound I-5 in Pacoima late Sunday morning when the crash happened.

Paramedics declared a man and a woman dead at the scene.
