A wild party on Saturday night ended in one arrest and landed one person in hospital when it wrapped up early Sunday morning.

At about 4 a.m, today, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a house party in the 18000 block of Oakmont Drive in Canyon County that ended in a brawl involving four women and one man, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The party house was in the area north of Via Princessa and west of Highway 14, off Jason Drive.

“Last night, there was an out of control party on Oakmont that turned into a fight with four females and one male,” said Sgt. Ron Price.

“One victim, one of the females, was possibly knocked unconscious. She was taken to (Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial) Hospital possibly with a broken jaw,” he said.

One man was arrested at the party for allegedly brandishing a knife, he said.
