Ed Lin, interim executive director for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, is leaving his post at the end of the month, foundation officials revealed today.

He has been appointed director of development for The Harmony Project, which targets at-risk youths in parts of Los Angeles, according to a media release issued by the foundation today.

Lin joined the foundation three years ago as director of development, but took over his current role last summer and has been overseeing family outreach, fund raising and partner development, events and administration.

“We’re very grateful to Ed for stepping in to fill the executive director role on an interim basis, and for his unwavering commitment to the Foundation,” said Kevin D. Holmes, president of the foundation's Board of Directors.

“I’ve been honored to be part of the work the Michael Hoefflin Foundation does to support kids with cancer and their families,” Lin said. “And I’ve been impressed by the dedication shown by our outreach staff, our Board of Directors and the hundreds of volunteers who make our work possible.

“I look forward to this new chapter in my career, but will truly miss the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and everyone associated with it.”
