Tim Myers is too offensive

As an independent still trying to decide, I try to read as many opinions as time allows.

I found Tim Myers' column in the Sunday Signal to be offensive. He refers to people who don't see things his way as "kooks" or "cretins."

About the Ayers/Obama relationship, as reported on Fox News, he writes: "Nobody with an IQ above room temperature will buy right now."

This in spite of the fact that as recently as 2001, Ayers said he wished he had bombed more.

He refers to Fox commentator Sean Hannity as "the high-functioning idiot" (an oxymoron as idiots can't be high-functioning).

He implies that the main reason many people will vote against Obama is solely because he is black (actually he is as much white as he is black).

Come on, Tim, tell us how you really feel.

I think the vast majority of people who vote for McCain will do so not because Obama is black, but because of his ultra-liberal policies, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his wife's "finally" being proud to be an American, Tony Rezko, flag saluting, the National Anthem, and more.

I could call Tim a negative, whiny, name-calling socialist, but I'm not into name-calling.

Let's just say I don't find his writing very persuasive.
