Lombardi Ranch Pumpkin Festival brings the fall harvest to life each weekend in October at Lombardi Ranch, a local family owned and operated farm. Lombardi Ranch offers fresh produce and pumpkins in numerous shapes and sizes. Band performances, train rides, a petting zoo, wagon rides, a scarecrow contest and more! Hours are Mondays through Saturdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays and holidays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking and entry to the ranch is free. Lombardi Ranch, 29527 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus. The Saugus Union School District centennial celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Bridgeport Elementary School park, 23670 Newhall Ranch Road. The Santa Clarita STARS Junior National Dance Team will hold its Fifth annual Fundraising Golf Tournament on Nov. 1 at Elkins Ranch. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Banquet will follow. Nov. 8
The Susanna and Mike Gunning Texas Hold ‘Em Benefit will be held at the Hyatt Valencia. Registration begins at 5:45 p.m. and the tournament begins at 6:30 p.m. The buy-in is $100 with unlimited re-buys for the first two hours. The tournament is limited to 300 players. Nov. 9
Santa Clarita Artists' Association's premier art show and fundraiser; Art Classic XIX - "United by Art", will be held at Hart Hall, 24151 San Fernando Road, Newhall, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Event combines the best of art, music, wine and food. Admission to the gala and awards ceremony is $30 for 1 ticket; $25 each for 2 or more and $40 each at the door. Free public viewing of the art work on 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 8. William S. Hart Museum and Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society will present "Fencing with Fairbanks," on Nov. 15 at William S. Hart Park, 24151 Newhall Ave. Celebration of Douglas Fairbanks will include displays of props and costumes, book signings, a catered buffet dinner and a private screening of "The Mark of Zorro."
