Cami-Marie Jones, of Valencia, has received a national honor.

The National Society of School Scholars has announced that the Valencia High School student has been selected for membership.

The society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved academic excellence.
Jones is the daughter of Verdell Jones, of Valencia.

Membership in the National Society of High School Scholars entitles qualified students to a wide variety of benefits including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, free events, member-only resources and other participation programs.
