ASB presidents have a message: Vote ‘yes’

As we all know, Election Day is on the horizon. In a couple weeks most of you will be going to the polls and voting for the next president of the United States.

There will also be many propositions and measures that will be placed before us. As you are checking the ballot for our next commander in chief, I urge you to look for and vote "yes" on Measure SA.

Measure SA is a general obligation bond that will fund $300 million to our local schools in Santa Clarita.
We're very proud to hear that the Hart district students and staffs have been recognized as the No. 1 district in the state of California for API scores, and we want to see that success continues to climb.

This bond measure will involve many facility improvements that will directly work to that end, including building Castaic high school, adding performing arts centers to Canyon High and Saugus High, finishing the modernizing projects at Hart High, Placerita and Sierra Vista junior highs, and upgrading safety and technology infrastructures on all campuses.

By saying "yes" to Measure SA you will be helping out your community and making a brighter future for all of the children yet to come.

As ASB presidents, we are speaking with one voice and giving our full support toward this bond; we hope you will do the same.

This is about our future. Please help make Santa Clarita strong by providing the best instructional environment for us to learn.
