Local sheriff's detectives have arrested and charged a 30-year-old Canyon Country laborer with indecent exposure in relation to two incidents that allegedly occurred on transit buses and involved children.

Detective Jeff Burrow of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's COBRA unit said in a press release that his team is hoping other people will come forward once news of the man's arrest is made public.

Detectives say the man exposed himself and annoyed children twice while riding on a Santa Clarita Transit bus.

The first incident is alleged to have occurred Sept. 6 with a second alleged incident two days later.

When detectives learned of the incidents they assigned a detective to conduct surveillance on buses they believed the suspect would take.

On Tuesday, detectives arrested a man at the McBean Transfer Center.

The suspect was taken into custody and booked at Santa Clarita Valley Station with bail set at $35,000.

Charged with indecent exposure is 30year-old Wilber Saldana of Canyon Country.
