In response to “Double-murder/suicide shows society’s ills,” Sept. 8:
Mr. Miano, I’m thankful to have this forum for both of us to express our opinions and views.
But don’t assume to judge me on having a “faulty presupposition” about people’s goodness.
I’m very aware of good and bad in this world. I do not have a low standard of morality. It is not for me or you to judge, only God.
You did not know Strassner as we did, and I still contend the following: “He was once a good man who got a terrible disease that caused him to commit a horrific act.” May God judge with wisdom, love and mercy.
Thank you for your prayers — I need them. Due to a tragic loss in my life, I, too, suffer from this disease.
