Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station detectives seek the public's help identify a man and vehicle connected with passing counterfeit U.S. currency.

Detectives described the man as a white male, The man is a white male, age 45 to 50, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150-170 lbs.

The suspect entered the Mobil gas station at 31785 The Old Road in Castaic Friday, Sept. 27, and allegedly attempted to pay for gas with a counterfeit $20 bill.

Detective Jeff Jackson asks anyone with information regarding this crime or this man to call the Sheriff's Station at (661) 799-5151.
