Criticizing Obama doesn't make me racist

Why is it that any criticism of Sen. Obama and his associations with terrorists and racists, and his lack of experience always elicits cries of racism from the Democrat camp, including the mainstream media?

We have Sen. Frank crying racism because Republicans, and others, are pointing out his - Dodd's and Raines' - responsibility in the current financial meltdown.

The criticism has nothing to do with the people who borrowed the money. It is everything to do with the completely irresponsible lack of oversight from the Democratic committee that stonewalled Republicans, including Sen. McCain, when they raised the issue of the current crisis four years ago. It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with poor decision-making on the part of Frank and Dodd, Raines and Obama.

While we're talking about fat-cat CEO bailouts, let's take a hard look at Raines, who as head of FM took home $90 million in the four-year period immediately prior to the current crisis.

Obama was the second-largest beneficiary of "donations" from Fannie Mae. Raines presided over the collapse of the mortgage industry, and he's been one of Obama's financial advisers. Does anyone really want this man "fixing" the economy? This criticism is not about race. It is about incompetence at best and graft and corruption of the highest order at worst.

Please stop throwing accusations of racism at those of us who care about immoral behavior and are willing to point it out, regardless of a person's ethnic background.
