Bill and Virginia Rattazzi of Santa Clarita are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Rattazzi to Scott Cameron of Santa Rosa.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Campbell Hall in North Hollywood, an honors graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and an honors graduate with a Master’s degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she was the 2003-04 Ambassadorial Scholar for the International Rotary Club.

The bride-elect is a diplomat with the United States Department of State, currently on assignment at the United States Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cameron and Ms. Susan Freeman of Northern California.

He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Virginia and holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University.
The groom-elect is employed by the United States Agency for International Development and will shortly join the bride-elect in Afghanistan.

The couple plan a September wedding at the Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes.

They will then return to Afghanistan to complete their current assignments.
