GOP uses push poll politics in campaign

Well, the local Republicans seem to be up to their same old dirty tricks.

Instead of just campaigning against Carole Lutness, the Democratic nominee in the 38th Assembly District race, someone is conducting a “push poll.”

A push poll is not a real poll. It asks questions in a negative way about one candidate, giving the person answering the questions a negative impression of that candidate.

It is a classic “dirty trick” aimed at influencing voters in such a way that they hopefully will not notice. Unfortunately, it is often effective with less-informed voters.

If you want to find out what Carole Lutness really stands for, just go to her Web site at Lutness4assembly.com. Don’t be influenced by political dirty tricks.
